Zement

The cement (similar to illustration) is finely ground and, because of its properties, is used to make components and structures. It hardens by the chemical reaction with water and then remains firm. Cement is an inorganic, hydraulic binder for mortar and concrete. The starting material of today's construction cements consists of a mixture of limestone and clay. Depending on the chemical composition of the quarry, correction materials such as iron ore or sand must be added.
