The Replacement Foot for Canon 300 f/2.8 IS II, 200-400 f/4 IS, 500 f/4 IS II, and 400 f/4 DO IS I Lenses from Wimberley , made of black anodized 6061 aluminum, has a double-dovetail, Arca-type compatible mount that lets the user attach accessories to the top as well as the bottom of the foot. When mounted on a tripod head, the low profile of this lightweight and durable lens foot provides a lower center of gravity and better balance compared with the one originally supplied with the lens. This lower-profile foot reduces flex and vibrations to the lens when in use. Also, 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 sockets support tripod heads that do not have a compatible Arca-type clamp. Dual safety stops are included to prevent accidental sliding of the lens if a clamp is left partially open.
