USP 4-in x 4-in Triple Zinc Wood To Concrete (Cast In Place) Base

An economical solution for supporting 4x4 posts at the minimum 1 inch above the concrete foundation as required by building code. For applications where uplift loads are not present, can be installed directly into a hole predrilled in a pier block or concrete foundation. To resist uplift loading, must be cast into concrete or epoxied into place. Made of 12 gauge steel with G185 Triple Zinc finish. Requires 8 10d HDG nails for installation (not included). Includes nut, washer, and threaded rod for installation. Not recommended for fence posts or other unrestrained (not fixed or fastened at top) applications; Not designed to resist overturning (moment) loads.
