Its eighth port is PoE-compliant, supporting software-selectable 24V passive PoE passthrough from PoE input on Port 1 or via the external power adapter, for radio antennas and other powered devices. Two Gigabit SFP ports are available for fiber connectivity. The fully managed switch is designed to operate quietly on desktops but can be adapted to a rackmount with a separate kit. You can configure EdgeSwitch 10X and its connected devices with the browser-based tool or use the Ubiquiti Network Management System to manage EdgeMAX devices across multiple networks.
