The 99764 STEELMAN 1/2-Inch Drive 6-point Thin Wall Deep Well Impact Socket Set is a 10-piece set containing the following popular SAE and metric sizes: 14mm, 17mm, 19mm, 21mm, 22mm, 13/16-in, 7/8-in, 15/16-in, 1-in and 1-1/16-in. Made from drop forged and heat treated chrome vanadium steel these sockets feature a ball detent recess on the 1/2-inch drive end to help them hold securely onto ratchets, adapters, and extensions. The 6-point design grips the sides of fasteners and not the corners, reducing wear and the chance of rounding the fastener and the thin-wall design allows them to reach fasteners in recessed areas too narrow for regular sockets. The sockets each feature a rust and corrosion resistant black oxide protective coating with laser-etched size call-outs and markings. Rated to withstand up to 150% of ASME torque requirements for impact tools, these can handle tough use in any professional shop and garage or home workshop.
