This latest iteration, the Sony Alpha NEXC3K, has managed to shrink the body size from that of its predecessor, while increasing the pixel count and sensitivity at the same time. The NEX cameras made a big splash when they first appeared on the scene, and for good reason: they give you a large, pixel-dense APS-C sensor, the added benefit of interchangeable lenses, and a form factor that's compact and easy to carry around.
