Its state-of-the-art Symbol SE-955 Class-2 laser scanner engine SD Scan Card 3P reads damaged, poor quality and hard-to-read barcodes, even on curved and reflective surfaces and in dim environments. The device requires no extra batteries or special power adapters, since it draws power from the host hand-held mobile device. The SocketScan keyboard emulation software sends decoded data to any Windows or Palm applications as virtual keystrokes.
