The compact planer HMS 850 from Scheppach combines a planer and a thicknesser in only one device. Due to its compact dimensions, it can also be used in small workshops and hobby cellars. Due to the equipment with 2 planing knives the planer achieves a fast working progress and very good results. The knife is powered by a 1250 W motor, which handles even more demanding tasks effortlessly. In order to be able to easily adjust the different passage heights, the device has an easy-to-reach rotary knob, and the flexibility is further increased by the swiveling dressing stop. As many shavings are produced during planing, a suction hood is included in the scope of delivery, which can be used both for dressing and thickness planing and to which all commercially available extraction systems can be connected.
