Polsen Cardioid Condenser Microphone

The PCR-65 from Polsen is a cardioid condenser microphone designed for full-range reproduction of vocals and instruments in podcasts, recording studios, and broadcast environments. Its side-address, pressure-gradient design utilizes a large 1" diaphragm with a cardioid polar pattern, which minimizes the pickup of off-axis sounds and impedes feedback. The microphone boasts a 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response, allowing it to accurately transduce the frequencies of a variety of sounds. Its high sensitivity and 125 dB maximum SPL ensure that you can use it on quiet or loud sources, from whispered vocals to pounding drums. The PCR-65 has a sturdy, metal housing with an alloy finish. The supplied custom shockmount decouples the mic from vibrations and rumble that would otherwise transfer from the floor to the mic. Use the desktop tripod stand for convenient tabletop placement during interviews and podcasts. Phantom power (12 to 52 VDC) is required.
