The Platinum Tools® TP500C LANSeeker™ Cable Tester is an easy-to-use professional grade tool that displays cable test results using LED indicators on the main and remote unit. Commercial and residential cable installers need this must-have tester. The LANSeeker™ tests for shorts, opens, miswires, reversals, and split pairs. It immediately detects shorts by just plugging in one end of a cable to the tester. There is no on/off switch, the system automatically starts testing when a connection is sensed between the main and remote unit. It can display connection and fault information on a pair-by-pair basis and generates audio tones for use with tone tracers on all pairs.
