The Pipehorn MD450 MagHorn Magnetic Locator effectively detects buried objects made of iron or steel (ferrous or ferromagnetic). Featuring an audio alert, this highly sensitive magnetic locator notifies the operator when it finds large iron and steel tanks as deep as 15 feet. It is also capable of finding buried valve boxes, manhole covers and much more up to eight feet deep while ignoring other metals such as copper and aluminum.
