Building a physical fence to keep your dog contained can be expensive and, in some locations, impractical. The PetSafe Classic In-Ground Fence lets you enjoy your property while keeping your dog contained. Just bury the included wire — laid out in whatever configuration you desire — to establish a perimeter for your pup. Attach the included wireless device to your dog's collar, and he'll get a warning tone as he approaches the boundary. If he continues, the collar will issue an adjustable level of static correction. The included flags give him a helpful visual cue as he learns where he can and can't go. The system includes one receiver collar , but you can add as many as you need — each one will respond to the wire barrier the same way. When your pet nears the boundary, the collar will give a warning tone, followed by a static correction to remind your pet to stay inside the safe zone.
