Parallax RFID reader module

RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) is a system for short range identification via RF. Conceivable applications are like access control, automatic identification, navigation and payment systems. The Parallax system consist of a reader module which can be connected to a processor, Basic Stamp module or to a PC. Uses passive transponder tags for identification, either credit card- or round shaped tags. Maximum reading distance between tag and reader module is approx. 6.5 cm.
