There's an easy-to-access impedance switch you can adjust to ensure a safe load for your amplifier. This rugged outdoor volume control isn't picky about where you install it. It mounts to a wall or a standard 3/4" PVC conduit. It's also built to withstand almost anything Mother Nature throws its way (shy of Antarctica or Death Valley, maybe), so it'll work like a charm year-round. The quick-connect terminals on the back make inserting speaker wire straightforward and handle up to 14-gauge wire.
