Phase-corrected roof prisms produce clear images with increased contrast and true color rendition. The Oasis is offered here in a 10x power, which walks the delicate line between an increased viewing distance over lower magnification optics, while maintaining a useful field of view. Its 28mm objective lenses draw in a appreciably more light than smaller lenses while maintaining a compact form-factor. The lightweight housing is nitrogen-filled and o-ring sealed enabling it to withstand use in wet and snowy weather, and the rubberized armor offers protection from impacts while providing a slip-resistant grip. The twin-hinge design enables the optical tubes to fold in tight to each other for space-saving stowage in a pack or pocket. Twist-up eyecups makes it comfortable to use with or without eye wear.
