With impedance-magnifying volume controls you can safely connect as many as 16 pairs of speakers to a typical receiver or amplifier. You won't have to install a speaker selector or any other type of protection device! If your amp's minimum impedance is 8 ohms, you can connect up to 16 pairs of 8 ohm speakers using these impedance magnifying volume controls. If your amp's minimum impedance is 4 ohms, you can connect up to 32 pairs of 8 ohms speakers, or 16 pairs of 4 ohm speakers! Details: When you install the VCS-2D-IM you will adjust a set of jumpers to set the impedance based on the total number of speakers you will be using.
