MiTek 2" x 4" Supplementary Bearing Top Plate

The SBP4 Supplementary Bearing Plate can be used instead of extra truss plies or nail-on scabs to distribute concentrated truss reactions and avoid top plate crushing. The two-piece design accommodates any number of girder plies. A wraparound design gives superior uplift resistance, and reinforcement ribs effectively distribute bearing loads. It works with both single and double 2" x 4" or 2" x 6" top plates. It is made of 16-gauge steel with a G90 galvanizing finish.
