The remote escutcheons cover the digital display on the PTAC and instructs the occupant to use the wall thermostat for unit operation. When a wall thermostat is used on a PTAC, the controls on the unit are not required. The user can remove the control knobs, and install one of these esthetic escutcheons which will instruction those who wish to operate the PTAC to use the thermostat.
