The Knauf Flex-Dicht is ideally suited for watertight, elastic blocking of surfaces in wet rooms or outdoors. The sealing system is used before laying ceramic tiles and natural stones. Due to its highly flexible fiber reinforcement, it even compensates for subsequent subsurface cracks, which can be caused by different weather conditions or thermal stress, such as underfloor heating. The high water blocking capacity prevents the penetration of water into concrete or masonry. The application of the Flex-Dicht is very easy: it is mixed with water and painted or filled depending on the mixing ratio, it does not need a previous primer to stick.
