The Kidde FireX i12060 is an AC/DC powered, ionization smoke alarm paired with the Plug-In Carbon Monoxide Alarm and Full Home Fire Extinguisher together offer protection for the hardwired home owner. The smoke alarm uses ionization sensing technology. Ionization sensing alarms may detect invisible fire particles (associated with flaming fires) sooner than photoelectric alarms. Photoelectric sensing alarms may detect visible particles (associated with smoldering fires) sooner than ionization alarms. Alarm is packaged with 2 universal adapters that allow easy installation when replacing other branded smoke alarm. The Plug In carbon monoxide alarm monitors for increased levels of CO in the home and has a back-up battery to power the unit during outages. Full Home fire extinguisher offers enough coverage for pathway to safety in homes and can be used in garage/work shops where common combustibles, liquids and electronics may exist.
