Kidde Hardwired 120-Volt TruSense Smoke Detector with Voice Alert

TruSense technology differentiates between truly threatening fast-flaming or smoldering fires and nuisances such as burning food. As particles enter the alarm, the size of the particles is analyzed by a series of algorithms and consolidated into ratios to determine if these particles stem from a real fire or a nuisance source. Hardwired for 120VAC, this model features a convenient, front load 9-Volt battery backup. It also contains a voice message system and Smart Hush Control to temporarily silence nuisance alarms.
