The Alfa Romeo 8C can be regarded as one of the most famous sports cars of the 1930er. The name of the car is derived from the engine used: An 8-cylinder series engine with a displacement of 2,336 cm³, which became an icon in the automobile panorama of the time. The 8C could be considered a "state of the art" in terms of technology, technical solutions and performance. Characterized by exceptional road conditions and excellent reliability, Alfa Romeo achieved significant sporting victories on numerous international circuits and combined his name with the famous driver from Mantua, Tazio Nuvolari. His most famous achievements include the victory at the Targa Florio in 1931 and the great prize of Italy.
