GoldenEar Invisa 650

In-ceiling speakers like GoldenEar's Invisa 650 are an excellent choice for enjoying music and movies without taking up shelf or floor space. If you're building a GoldenEar home theater, a pair of the Invisa 650s are a particularly good option for your system's Dolby Atmos® overhead effects channels. Crisp bass and textured midrange come courtesy of a 6-1/2" polymer woofer, while a HVFR™ (High-Velocity Folded Ribbon) tweeter dishes out ultra-smooth, ultra-revealing highs. The Invisa 650's HVFR tweeter is actually a trickle-down technology borrowed from GoldenEar's top-of-the-line Triton Series. It uses neodymium magnets to squeeze and pressurize the air and move a high-density Kapton film diaphragm. This no-resonance, low-distortion design helps the tweeter reach an astonishingly high 35,000 Hz while keeping a smooth, detailed response — even at high volume.
