The SSL-50 features an all-digital dimmer with enhanced resolution; giving you single digit adjustment control throughout the dimming range from 100% all the way down to 1%. Other dimmers without this functionality can exhibit abrupt falloff below 10% greatly limiting their dynamic range. The SSL-50 runs barely warm to the touch, allowing you to work close to the subject without causing discomfort or hot light hazards.
