Everbilt Shower Wall Surround Waterproofing Kit (106.6 sq. ft.)

The Everbilt Shower kit is a waterproof system which includes all the underlayment backer boards, multipurpose construction adhesive caulking and screws and washers needed to waterproof the walls for tiling around a bathtub or shower base. The Everbilt 1/2 in. thick backer board panels are applied directly to the stud framing eliminating the need for gypsum or cement board. Ten (10) Backer boards are included in the kit that cover 106 sq.ft. The 32 in. x 48 in. x 1/2 in. wall backer board is a thin, lightweight (5 lbs VS 45lbs for cement board), waterproof and vapor-retardant backer board that consists of an extruded polystyrene rigid foam core. The backer boards are easy to cut with a standard utility blade and do not generate the dust conventional backer boards create. Also, there is no need to place/paint liquid waterproofing membrane on the backer boards. They are pre-waterproof and anti-microbial.
