One weathertight sealing cap is required to cover any unused connectors on the Enphase Q Cable. If there are any unused connectors for future expansion or to cover a gap between panels, a Q-SEAL cap must be used to prevent water and dust from entering the connector. The Enpahse IQ smart system is UL certified.
