All Emtek items are made to order. Emtek's single cylinder handlesets use traditional American locks complete with a variety of trim styles, handcrafted from authentic materials. The Brighton handleset is operated by a key from the exterior, and a thumbturn from the interior. The door is opened from both sides by a metal handle with thumb grip. Uncompromisingly rugged and beautifully crafted, these locks are suitable for the very finest homes. Like all of Emtek's Rustic Modern Collection, the Brighton is cast from molten bronze one piece at a time into authentic rustic designs. The Brighton's patina finishes are achieved using the traditional techniques of bronze sculptors. With pitted surfaces and hand-finished patinas, these uniquely American designs resonate a calm strength.
