The MW1 is a hardwired remote control with an LCD display that is compatible with the following Clarion marine head units - The MW1 has backlit rubber buttons with the following functions: The display briefly shows the volume when it's changed, and can be set to show the time of day or source information; chapter/track, elapsed time, song title (for iPod and CDs with CD Text), band (AM/FM), frequency, and preset number.
