Description
There's one problem with stacking components — excess heat has nowhere to go. The ATM Dual-mode Component Cooler solves that problem. You can place it either under a component, or between two components. Powerful fans and an open design keep the air flowing and your gear cool. The cooler ships in "heat shield" mode, ready to place on top of a heat-generating component like an amplifier or receiver. In this configuration, the fans blow downward, and the unit provides a heat shield for a component above, like a Blu-ray or CD player. You can also install the fans with the direction of the flow reversed, to place the cooler in "base" mode underneath your heat-generating amp or receiver. A remote sensor attaches magnetically to the gear you want to monitor. The fans run continuously at an idle speed, then switch to normal speed if the temperature reaches 90°.
