AnyBus Communicator CAN - EtherCAT AnyBus Communicator CAN allows you to integrate CAN-based field devices into an EtherCAT network. No changes to the serial device are necessary for this. The AnyBus Communicator CAN is a proven and reliable protocol converter that connects non-networked devices that support CAN-based protocols to EtherCAT. The Communicator performs intelligent protocol conversion and provides the CAN data of the higher-level PLC as I/O data. The Communicator is a compact stand-alone gateway for IP20 and DIN rail mounting that requires a 24-volt power supply. It meets the current EtherCAT specification and has been successfully tested for network compatibility.
