The Amerex 50 lbs Wheeled Regular Dry Chemical Stored Pressure Fire Extinguisher (Class B:C) is a mobile, large-capacity extinguisher for facilities with extra-high risks of Class B (flammable liquid/gas) and C (electrical equipment) fires. It uses 50 lbs of Regular Dry Chemical, a siliconized sodium bicarbonate-based agent, to suppress as much as 160 square feet of Class B fires. The Amerex 496 is easy to transport using the wheeled carriage, making it ideal for large commercial and industrial spaces where mobile, high-capacity extinguishers are needed, such as oil refineries, construction sites, parking lots, and loading docks.
