The Amerex 451 150 lbs Wheeled Regular Dry Chemical Direct Pressure Fire Extinguisher (Class B:C) is a mobile, large-capacity extinguisher for facilities with extra-high risks of large-scale Class B (flammable liquid/gas) and C (electrical equipment) fires. It uses 150 lbs of Regular Dry Chemical, a siliconized sodium bicarbonate-based agent, to suppress as much as 240 square feet of Class B fires. Operated with a nitrogen cylinder, the Amerex 451 is secured to a carriage with easy-rolling semi-pneumatic wheels, making it easy to transport by one operator in case of a fire emergency. The Amerex 451 is often used in large commercial and industrial spaces where mobile, high-capacity extinguishers are needed, such as oil refineries, construction sites, parking lots, loading docks, and manufacturing plants.
