The following table describes the labels in this screen.
10.5 Port Trig ge ring Sc re e n
To change your NBG-418N v2’s port trigger settings, click Ne twork > NAT > Port Trig g e ring . The screen
appears as shown.

LABEL DESCRIPTION
Add Application Rule
Application Name Select an option from the drop-down list to choose a pre-defined service. The pre-defined
service port number(s) and protocol will display in the fields below.
User-Defined
Application Name
Type a name (of up to 31 printable characters) to identify this rule. Otherwise, select a
predefined service in the Applic a tio n Na me drop-down list.
Protocol Select the transport layer protocol used for the service. Choices are TCP, and UDP.
Public Port Range
Local Port Range
Type a port number(s) to be forwarded.
To specify a range of ports, enter a colon (:) between the first port and the last port, such as
10:20.
Server IP Address Type the inside IP address of the server that receives packets from the port(s) specified in the
Port field.
Apply Click Apply to save your changes to the Applic a tio n Rule s Summa ry table.
Reset Click Re se t to not save and return your new changes in the Se rvic e Na m e and Po rt fields to
the previous one.
Application Rules Summary
Application Name This field displays a name to identify this rule.
Protocol This field displays the transport layer protocol supported by this server.
Server IP Address This field displays the inside IP address of the server.
Local Port Range
Public Port Range
This field displays the port number(s).
State This field displays whether the rule is enabled or disabled.
Action Click the Disa ble icon to disable a rule.
Click the Dele te icon to delete a rule.
