8.4.2.2 Editing a Created Target
You can edit iSCSI t arget sett ings such as allowed init iat or ( I QN) , CHAP, and CRC checksum aft er
you creat e a t arget. Click St orage M ana ger > iSCSI Targe t s and select Edit t o open t he
following screens.
Properties
The Prope rties screen allows you t o edit t he allowed initiator (I QN), CHAP aut henticat ion feat ures
as shown in the following screen.

Apply Click Apply t o save t he set tings.
Cancel Click Ca ncel t o close t he screen without saving any set tings.

Nam e Displays the nam e of your iSCSI t arget.
I QN Displays t he iSCSI Qualified Nam e ( I QN) of t he target.
Allowed init iator
(I QN)
The allowed initiat or nam e is in t he iSCSI Qualified Nam e ( I QN) form at . You can connect
wit h anot her init iat or by changing t he allowed initiator I QN.
The system will display a prom pt if you enter an invalid charact er or usernam e of
unaccept able lengt h in t his field.
