CHAP I f the iSCSI target has configured Challenge Handshake Authent ication Prot ocol ( CHAP)
here, the initiator needs to ent er the secret before the initiat or connects t o t he t arget.
The t arget will aut hent icat e t he init iator with the usernam e and password (shared
secret ). The connect ion fails if the usernam e and password are not ent er ed correctly.
Usern a m e - The user nam e is for the initiator t o aut hent icate the init iator when
attem pt ing connect ion.
Pa ssw ord - The password is for the t arget t o authent icate t he initiat or when at tem pting
connect ion.
Con firm pa ssw ord - Re-t ype the password t o m ake sure you ent ered it correct ly.
Note: Valid characters for password are 0-9, a-z, and A-Z.
Enable m utual
CHAP
Mutual CHAP is a t wo- way aut hent icat ion bet ween t he iSCSI init iator and t he target. I f
the init iator has configured CHAP aut hent icat ion, the t arget m ust enter t he secret t hat ’s
set up by t he init iat or when attem pt ing connect ion.
Select t his check box to perform m ut ual CHAP on t he t ar get.
Usern a m e - The user nam e is for the initiator t o aut hent icate the init iator when
attem pt ing connect ion.
Pa ssw ord - The password is for the t arget t o authent icate t he initiat or when at tem pting
connect ion.

Use this screen t o m ap the iSCSI target t o an exist ing LUN.
Note: One iSCSI target can map to several LUN, but one LUN can only map to one target.

LUN Name Displays t he LUN nam e.
Capacit y Displays the size of t he iSCSI LUN(s).
Back Click Back t o go t o t he previous step.
