14.12 Using FTPES to Connect to the NAS
This section covers how t o use FTP over Explicit TLS/ SSL with t he NAS for secure FTP t ransfers.
Before you go through t his section, read Sect ion 14.11 on page 177 to configure HTTPS. This
exam ple uses FileZilla.
1 Open FileZilla and click File > Sit e M a na ger > N e w Sit e.
Configure t he H ost field wit h the NAS’s address.
Set the Serve rt ype t o FTPES - FTP over explicit TLS/ SSL.
Configure t he account nam e and password.
Click Connect .
