6.6 IPv6
Use this screen to configure the LTE3301’s IPv6 settings. Click Ne two rk > WA N > IPv6 from the
C o nfig ura tio n menu.

IPv6 Select Ena ble to allow the LTE3301 to run IPv6. Otherwise, select Disa b le .
IPv6 Connection Select Sta tic IPv6 if you have a fixed IPv6 address assigned by your ISP.
Select DHC Pv6 if you want to obtain an IPv6 address from a DHCPv6 server.
Select PPPo E if your ISP requires your to use a PPPoE connection to the IPv6 Internet. This
method of connection typically requires you to enter a Username and Password
(provided by your ISP) to gain access to the IPv6 Internet. You need to ensure that any
PPPoE client software on your computer is removed or disabled.
Select 6RD to enable IPv6 rapid deployment to tunnel IPv6 traffic from the local network
through the ISP’s IPv4 network
(These fields appear when the IPv6 C o nne c tio n is set to Sta tic IPv6.)
IPv6 Address Enter the IPv6 address on the WAN side in this field.
Subnet Prefix Length Enter the address prefix length to specify how many most significant bits in an IPv6
address compose the network address.
Default Gateway Enter the IP address of the next-hop gateway. The gateway is a router or switch on the
same segment as your LTE3301's interface(s). The gateway helps forward packets to their
destinations.
Primary DNS Address
Enter the first IPv6 DNS server address assigned by the ISP.
Secondary DNS
Address
Enter the second IPv6 DNS server address assigned by the ISP.
