6.5 Ne two rk Sc a n
Use this screen to set how you want the LTE3301 to connect to an available mobile network. Click
Ne two rk > WAN > Ne two rk Sc a n from the C o nfig ura tio n menu.

The following table describes the labels in this screen.

LABEL DESC RIPTIO N
Physical Interface This shows the type of the interface used by the WAN connection.
Network Type Select the type of the network (4G o nly, 3G o nly, or 3G / 4G ) to which you want the
LTE3301 to connect when there is a SIM card inserted.
Scan Approach Select Auto to have the LTE3301 connect to an available network using the default
settings on the SIM card. If the currently registered mobile network is not available or the
mobile network’s signal strength is too low, the LTE3301 switches to another available
mobile network.
Select Ma nua lly to search for and select the mobile network(s) to which you want the
LTE3301 to connect.
Network Provider List This table is available only when you set Sc a n A p pro a c h to Ma nua lly.
Click Sc a n to search for available mobile networks based on the network type you
selected.
Click Ap p ly to save your changes in the Ac tio n field.
Provider Name This shows the name of the service provider.
Mobile System This shows the mobile telecommunications standard supported by the mobile network.
Network Status This shows whether the mobile network is available.
Action Click Se le c t to have the LTE3301 establish a connection to the selected mobile network.
Apply Click Apply to save your changes back to the LTE3301.
Cancel Click Ca nc e l to reload the previous configuration for this screen.
Refresh Click Re fre sh to update this screen.
