LAN Setup
This chapter covers how to configure your wired Local Area Network (LAN) settings.
24.1 LAN Setup
This chapter describes how to configure the Ethernet using Menu 3 — LAN Setup. From the
main menu, enter 3 to display menu 3. See Chapter 5 on page 72 for background information.

24.1.1 General Ethernet Setup
This menu allows you to specify filter set(s) that you wish to apply to the Ethernet traffic. You
seldom need to filter Ethernet traffic; however, the filter sets may be useful to block certain
packets, reduce traffic and prevent security breaches

If you need to define filters, please read Chapter 30 on page 276 first, then return to this menu
to define the filter sets.
