WAN Setup
This chapter describes how to configure the WAN using menu 2.
23.1 Introduction to WAN
This chapter explains how to configure settings for your WAN port. Refer to Chapter 6 on
page 82 for background information.
23.2 WAN Setup
From the main menu, enter 2 to open menu 2.

The following table describes the fields in this menu.
Menu 2 - WAN Setup
MAC Address:
Assigned By= Factory default
IP Address= N/A
Press ENTER to Confirm or ESC to Cancel:

FIELD DESCRIPTION
MAC Address
Assigned By Press [SPACE BAR] and then [ENTER] to choose one of two methods to assign a
MAC Address. Choose Factory Default to select the factory assigned default
MAC Address. Choose IP address attached on LAN to use the MAC Address of
that computer whose IP you give in the following field.
IP Address This field is applicable only if you choose the IP address attached on LAN
method in the Assigned By field. Enter the IP address of the computer on the
LAN whose MAC you are cloning.
When you have completed this menu, press [ENTER] at the prompt “Press ENTER to Confirm…” to
save your configuration, or press [ESC] at any time to cancel.
