For more personal interaction with hummingbirds, the clips (included with the Starter Kit) can

be slipped into each ring and attached to a hat brim, pocket, or the edge of most glasses or

sunglasses. When hummingbirds visit rings attached to the clips, not only will you get a great

view, but you can even hear the tiny humming of their wings and feel the breezes their ﬂapping

generates.

CLEANING AND CARE

The Hummingbird Ring is top rack dishwasher safe, and easy to clean with a gentle bleach

solution or mild dish soap. The ring should be thoroughly cleaned before every reﬁll, and the

syringe, trainer, and clips should also be rinsed and cleaned. Allow all parts to dry before

assembly and reﬁlling, and store the ring empty and clean between uses. Good cleaning

practices will keep your Hummingbird Ring in top condition for many seasons of hand-feeding

hummingbirds, and will protect the birds from bacteria, mold, or fungus.

As you use your Hummingbird Ring, you’ll learn more and more about your hummingbird
