Adding music to your phone
You can add music to your phone’s internal storage or to a removable
microSDHC card (see Phone setup – Inserting a microSDHC card).
Note: Steps may vary depending on your operating system.
1. Connect your phone to your computer with a USB cable.
2. Tap Media device (MTP).
Note: If you have a microSDHC card in your phone, you may be presented
with additional options. Tap Turn on USB storage > OK, or open the
Notications panel and tap Connected as an installer > Media
device (MTP).
3. On your PC, choose to view les through Windows Explorer. If you have
a Mac, visit http://www.android.com/letransfer to download the
necessary software.
4. Choose whether you want to add les to your phone’s internal storage
or to the microSDHC card, and then drag and drop the les you want
to transfer.
5. When you’re nished transferring les, open the notications panel and
tap Connected as a media device > Charge only. You may now safely
disconnect your phone from the computer.
Playing your music
You can play the audio les stored in
your phone’s microSDHC card in Music.
1. From the home screen, tap >
Music to access the music player.
2. Select Albums/Artists/Songs/
Playlists/Folders/GenreList to nd
the songs you want to play.
3. Tap an item from the list to start
playing.
4. Adjust the volume with the
Volume keys.
Number Function
1 Song and artist information.

Tap to toggle repeat mode: repeat all songs, repeat current
song, or repeat off.
3 Drag the slider to jump to any part of the song.
4 Tap to open the current playlist.
5 Skip songs or pause and resume playback.
6 Add to Favorite playlist.

Tap to play the current playlist in shufe mode, where tracks
are played in random order.
