Activate this device
The Activate this device menu lets you activate a new tablet or use additional self-service
options such as checking the status of an in-service tablet.
■ Touch > > Settings > Activate this device.
Location access
Your Location Services settings menu lets you select how your tablet determines its location
(using Wi-Fi and mobile networks, GPS satellites, both, or neither).
1. Touch > > Settings > Location access.
2. Touch the ON/OFF slider to turn location access on and touch Agree.
3. Select the check boxes for your location options.
 GPS satellites uses GPS to provide location accurate to street level.
 Wi-Fi & mobile network location uses Google’s location service to estimate your
location faster.
Security Settings
The lock screen settings let you set your method for unlocking your tablet, customize lock
screen options, determine whether to enter your owner information to be displayed on the lock
screen.
Screen Lock
You can increase the security of your tablet by creating a screen lock. When enabled, you have
to draw the correct unlock pattern on the screen, enter the correct PIN, or enter the correct
password to unlock the tablet’s screen.
1. Touch > > Settings > Security.
2. Touch Screen lock.
In order from least secure to most secure, the available screen lock options are:

● Slide
● Pattern
