secondsbeforeyoucantryagain.
Important:Toprotectyourdeviceanddatafromunauthorizedaccess,itisrecommendedthatyou
usethescreenunlockpassword(highestsecurity).Itisalsorecommendedthatyoufrequently
changeyourpasswordtoensurethesafetyofyourdeviceandpersonaldata.
Owner Information
Thismenuallowsyoutoentertextanddisplayitonthescreenwhenitislocked.

Touch > (Settings)> Security> Owner info.
2. Enterthetexttodisplayonthelockscreen.
Encrypt device
Youcanencryptallthedataonyourdevice,suchasGoogleAccounts,applicationdata,musicand
othermedia,downloadedinformation,andsoon.Ifyoudo,youmustenteranumericPINor
passwordeachtimeyoupoweronyourdevice.

Touch > (Settings)> Security > Encrypt device.
2. Readtheinformationaboutencryptioncarefully.
Note:TheEncrypt devicebuttonisdimmedifyourbattery'snotchargedoryourdeviceisnot
pluggedin.Ifyouchangeyourmindaboutencryptingyourdevice,touch .
3. TouchEncrypt device.
4. EnteryourlockscreenPINorpasswordandtouchNext.
5. TouchEncrypt deviceagain.
Theencryptionprocessstartsanddisplaysitsprogress.Encryptioncantakeanhourormore,during
whichtimeyourdevicemayrestartseveraltimes.
Encrypt External SDHC Card
YoucanencryptallthedataonyourSDHCcard.Ifyoudo,youmustenteranumericPINor
passwordeachtimeyoupoweronyourdevice.
