1. Prepare Installation Tools Prepare the following tools: Crosshead screwdriver Tape measure Marker pens Cutter knife Cable ties Hammer drill Installation Precautions Do not install the device with the interface side facing upwards. Do not install the device horizontally. Do not install the device tilted. WARNING! ZTE is not liable for any problem caused by device falling due to incorrect installation, such as property damage, personal injury or death.

2. Insert the nano-SIM Card 1. Use the crosshead screwdriver to loosen the two screws and then remove the front cover.
2. Insert the nano-SIM card. WARNING! To avoid damage to the device, do not use any other kind of SIM cards, or any non-standard nano-SIM card cut from a SIM card. You can get a standard nano-SIM card from your service provider.
3. Locate the Installation Position 1. Use a network cable to connect the POE to your device. 2. Connect the POE to the power socket. 3. Check the SIGNAL indicator on your device to find the position. NOTES : Three lights show the signal strength. More lights on means better signals. You also can use the Install Helper Application to help you confirm the signal strength. 4. Locate the position with the best signal strength to install 5. Disconnect the POE and the network cable.
4. Install the Device Install the Device Against a Pole 1. 2. Loosen the clamps. Pass the clamps through the mounting hole and fasten the two clamps to the pole.
Install the Device on a Wall 1. Mark the positions for drilling holes on the wall. The distance between two holes is 58mm.
2. Use a 6mm percussion drill to drill hole at the marked positions and install two expansion bolts. 3. Hang the MF266B on the expansion bolts.
5. Connect a Network Cable 1. Pass a network cable through the waterproof rubber ring, connect to the network port and then wind this cable as shown. 2. Put the cover back and tighten the screws.
6. Connect the POE Adapter 1. Connect the network cable which is from the ODU (MF266B) to the PWR LAN-OUT port on the POE adapter. 2. Use a network cable to connect the LAN-IN port on the POE adapter to the IDU.
7. Check the Installation Device Installation: The MF266B is installed firmly. The network cable is installed firmly. The nano-SIM card is installed. The network ports of the POE adapter are connected correctly. Cables: Verify that all cables are connected properly, cable connectors are secure. Cables should be laid in a clear and straight manner without crossing each other. There is no obvious curve or slant. Cables do not hang in the air or cross each other.
8. Start the Device and Access the Internet Connect the power plug of the POE adapter to the power socket. Your ODU (MF266B) will be powered on and connect to the Internet automatically. And then the IDU which is connected to the POE can access the Internet.
9. Change Your Device Settings You can change the device settings by logging in to the configuration web page. 1. View the label in the packing box to get the default Device 2. Launch the Internet browser. Enter the Device Manager 3. Input the WebUI password and then click Login. 4. After the configuration web page is opened, you can change Manager Website IP address and WebUI password. Website IP address in the Address bar. the password or other settings.
Indicator Lights POWER LAN NETWORK SIGNAL Blue on: Power is on and POE power supply is working normally. Off: Power is off or POE power supply is working abnormally. Blue on: The LAN port is connected. Off: No network cable is connected. Red: The device is turned on but not registered to the mobile network. Blue solid: The device is connected to the 4G LTE network. Green solid: The device is connected to the 2G/3G network. Blue on: Signal level panel. Strength is from weak to strong.

Cleaning and Maintenance The recommended operating temperatures are -40 °C to +55 °C and the storage temperatures are -40 °C to +70 °C.
If any abnormal phenomenon (such as smoke, unusual sound or peculiar smell) occurs, stop using it immediately, disconnect the power adapter, unplug all cables connected to the device, and contact an authorized service center. Do not step on, pull, or excessively bend the device cables. Otherwise the cables may be damaged and the device may malfunction. Before cleaning and maintenance, stop using the device, close all applications, and disconnect all cables connected to it.
