Add Device via QR Code
1.Tap the “+” icon to add device and select Outdoor PT Camera.
2.Tap Scan QR Code.
3.Scan the QR code on the camera or manually enter the device ID.
4.On the Device Information page, name the device and tap Add an
Unconnected Device.
5.Select the Wi-Fi network for the device and enter the password. Tap Next.
NOTE:Thedevicesupportsonly2.4GHzWiFi.PleaseselectaWi-Finetwork
without"5G"andavoidspecialcharactersintheWiFiname.
6.On Scan QR Code page, let your camera lens scan the QR code generated
on your smartphone.
7.After you hear a beep sound and voice prompts “Wireless Configuration
Succeed” “Wireless connecting, please wait” from the camera, Tap Next. If
you hear “Wireless Connection Succeed”, then tap Next. Finish the initial setup
and tap Done.
NOTE: If you failed to add the device to the App, please reset the device by
pressing and holding the reset button for 5 seconds. Then follow the
aforementioned steps to re-add the device.
Install the Camera
1. Installation precautions
• Do not face the camera to any light source.
• Do not point the camera at glass windows or reflective objects. Otherwise,
it may result in poor image performance due to reflections from infrared LEDs,
ambient lights or status lights.
• Do not mount the camera in shaded area, and point the camera towards
a well-lit area. For better image quality, make sure the camera and the
captured subject are at the same lighting conditions.
• For optimum performance, it is recommended that the camera be installed as
far away as possible from electronic devices such as microwaves, televisions,
radio phones and baby monitors to prevent signal interference.
• It is recommended to clean the lens with a soft cloth from time to time.
• Do not expose the power port to water or moisture, or blocked by dirt or
other things.
