Connection Diagram Before initial setup, follow the steps below to connect the camera. 1. Connect the camera to the LAN port on your router with an Ethernet cable. Router Power Adapter PT Camera Network Cable Power Cable NOTE: For PoE PT cameras, you can also connect the camera to a PoE switch/injector or PoE NVR. (PoE switch/injector and PoE NVR are not included) For WiFi PT cameras, you can connect to the router via Ethernet cable or directly connect to WIFI for device connection.
Add Device via QR Code 1.Tap the “+” icon to add device and select Outdoor PT Camera. 2.Tap Scan QR Code. 3.Scan the QR code on the camera or manually enter the device ID. 4.On the Device Information page, name the device and tap Add an Unconnected Device. 5.Select the Wi-Fi network for the device and enter the password. Tap Next. NOTE: The device supports only 2.4GHz WiFi. Please select a Wi-Fi network without "5G" and avoid special characters in the WiFi name. 6.
• Do not install the camera where rain and snow may hit the lens directly. • Camera may work in extremely cold conditions as low as -10°C as it will produce heat when powered on. WiFi Connection Fails during Initial Installation If the camera cannot connect to WiFi, please follow the troubleshooting tips listed below: • Make sure you have entered the correct WiFi password. • Move your camera close to the router to ensure a strong WiFi signal; 3.
