Windows 98 Network Settings
To configure network settings on a computer running Windows
98, follow these steps:

Click Start | Settings | Control Panel and then double-click
the Network icon. The Network dialog box will display.
Click on the Configuration tab. You will see a list of installed
network components. If you see a line that says TCP/IP ->
Zoom PCI Cable Modem, skip to Step 5. If you don’t see
the line, continue with Step 2.

If you don’t see TCP/IP listed, click the Add button to pres-
ent the Select Network Component Type dialog box.

Click to highlight Protocol and click Add.
