Table 13. DHCP Menu Options
Option Description
DHCP Server
Select Yes to use the internal DHCP server of the Cable
Modem/Router, or select No to disable it.
Starting Local
Address
Configure the starting IP address for IP leases available to devices
on the LAN.
Number of
CPEs
Configure the number of PCs supported on the LAN.
Lease Time
Configure the time a lease will last before it must be renewed.
Default is 86400 seconds, or 1 day.
Reserved IP
Addresses
Configure the MAC Address and IP Address to allow fixed IP
address.
WAN Settings
The WAN Settings page allows you to configure your Cable Modem/Router’s in Bridging
(NAT off) or Routing (NAT on) operation mode.
To access the WAN Settings page:
1 Click the Router menu tab.
2 Then click the WAN Settings submenu.
