– Choose this option if the network
you are joining uses 128-bit security and a passphrase
(password) to represent the 13 hexadecimal pairs in the
key. When you select this option, the screen changes so
you can enter the passphrase. The passphrase can be 1-31
characters. Enter the passphrase in the
PassPhrase
box,
then click the
Save Changes
button. The hexadecimal key
generated by the passphrase appears on the screen. (Write
down the hexadecimal key—you may need it later.)

Logout
icon at the top right corner of the screen,
then close your Web browser.

Reset the computer’s
TCP/IP
settings to what they were
before you changed them.

6 Connect the Game Point! to your Xbox or PlayStation®2.
First unplug the Game Point’s power cube from the power
strip or wall outlet and disconnect the Game Point’s Ethernet
cable from the Ethernet port of the computer you used to
configure it. Then connect the Game Point! to the Ethernet
port of the gaming device and plug the Game Point’s power
cube into a “live” power strip or wall outlet near this gaming
device. Confirm that the Game Point!
PWR
light goes on.
Congratulations!
You have specified WEP security for your
wireless network. Your Game Point! installation should be
complete.
